She quickly took a liking to it, finding the freedom and excitement of the job to be reward enough, allowing her to spend most of her earnings on her mothers final years. When her mother died but 7 years later at the age of 49, Toh'ka put a pause on her courtesan work to travel the world, risking life and limb to help others.She returned home 6 years later at the age of 30, longing to rekindle the connections of her years past, and found herself under the employ of the Ruby Red Lounge.
